Free Family Movie Night at the Pavilion: Sing

The festivities kick off at the Pavilion behind the Suffolk Visitor Center, located at 524 N. Main Street in historic downtown Suffolk. Popcorn, snacks and drinks will be available for purchase, in support of The United Way. There will also be crafts for the children, beginning at 6 p.m. Seating is available, but chairs, blankets and jackets are also encouraged as to make it an even more comfortable evening under the stars! The movie will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Set in a world like ours but entirely inhabited by animals, Illumination Entertainment's Sing stars Buster Moon, a dapper koala who presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times. Buster is an eternal-some might even say delusional-optimist who loves his theater above all and will do anything to preserve it. Now faced with the crumbling of his life's ambition, he has one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world's greatest singing competition. Features the vocal talents of Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane, Nick Offerman, Taron Egerton, and many more. This film is rated PG and has a running time of 108 minutes.
