Join the Suffolk Art Gallery in December for an exhibit from the Elizabeth River Artists. The group meets each Tuesday at the Gallery to paint and socialize while serving the community through yearly lectures and workshops, as well as providing scholarships for aspiring artists.
The Suffolk Division of Tourism, in partnership with the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts, is pleased to present the enchanting 2019 live-action film, "Aladdin," at the Suffolk Center on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 2pm. View the sights and sounds of the 2021 Suffolk Holiday Parade on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 7pm. Find the best spot to watch the floats, equestrian units, marching bands, and festive vehicles as they make their way down West Washington Street and turn up North Main Street, with the parade route ending at Finney Avenue. This year’s parade theme is "Home for the Holidays."

Enjoy a biologist-led nature walk as you learn about the flora, fauna, wildlife and history that abound in the 111,000-acre wilderness. The following items are encouraged kitty litter, cat food/kitten chow, dog food/puppy chow, leashes and collars, grooming supplies, toys, crates, towels, blankets, bleach, hand sanitizer & wipes, laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, trash bags and carriers.
