    Dress up with your pup and come out to Lake Meade Dog Park for the Suffolk Parks & Recreation Annual Yappy Hour and Doggy Howl-oween Costume Contest! Join us Friday, October 26, 2018, from 5-7 p.m. for a laid back evening of fun and socializing in the autumn air. Enjoy drinks and music while you and your dog meet new friends. Come with a creative costume idea, and the best dressed dogs will go home with a prize! This event is free and open to all dog park members.

    Suffolk Tourism and Brick & Mortar Brewing Co. present the Downtown Suffolk "Boos & Brews Tour," on Friday, October 26, 2018, from 6-8:30pm. Tour includes a flight of four craft beers (Brewer's Choice!) and a 90-minute "Legends of Main Street: A Suffolk Ghost Walk." Cost is $15 per person. Ages 21 and up only. Chime in to the fireside storytelling or record your tale with Suffolk Speaks, the library's oral history project. This event is geared towards adults and teens. Free s'mores while supplies last.
