  1. Suffolk Art League's Annual Juried Exhibition

    October 27, 2018, 10:00 AM - December 7, 2018, 5:00 PM @ Suffolk Art Gallery

    This Juried Exhibition is open to all visual artists working in any medium. The exhibition typically features approximately 100 works of art by artists from the Hampton Roads region and beyond. Over $2,400 in awards will be given, including a $500 First Prize and the opportunity for a one-person exhibit at the Suffolk Art Gallery in 2019. The juror will be Dr. Cole Welter, Graduate Program Director, Professor of Art, Painting and Drawing, at James Madison University.

  2. 7th Annual Artisan Gift Fair

    November 17, 2018, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Suffolk Visitor Center Pavilion

    Start your holiday shopping at the Seventh Annual Suffolk Artisan Gift Fair. Held in conjunction with the Suffolk Farmers’ Market, the traditional outdoor holiday market features artisan-quality crafts, jewelry, soaps, fine art, candles, woodcrafts, birdhouses, crocheted items, jams and jellies, totes, holiday ornaments, wreaths, baked goods, seasonal produce, meats and more. The Artisan Gift Fair is scheduled for 9am until 3 pm on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at the open-air Suffolk Visitor Center Pavilion. Conveniently located at the corner of Constance Road and North Main Street, the Suffolk Visitor Center Pavilion will be festive with live music, petting zoo, face painting and a bounce house. Enjoy light refreshments inside the Visitor Center. The Suffolk Artisan Gift Fair is free and open to the public.

  3. Downstairs at the Center: Luke Willette

    Luke Willette grew up in Franklin County, Missouri, and settled in Hampton Roads after a stint in the Navy. Luke lives in Suffolk with his wife Amy and two children. He owns Willette Plumbing. Luke has been playing guitar on and off since he was 12 and has been working at songwriting for the past ten years.
