    This spring, Tidewater Reads will celebrate the literary works of Kwame Alexander. Suffolk Art League and Suffolk Art Gallery are again participating in this regional literary collaborative by inviting artists to read Kwame's work and be inspired to create artwork. The exhibit will be held May 4-June 8, 2018, at the Suffolk Art Gallery.

  2. March of Dimes Charity Bass Fishing Tournament

    May 5, 2018, 6:30 AM - 2:00 PM @ Lone Star Lakes Park

    Come out to beautiful Lone Star Lakes Park and cast for a cause! A fishing license is required for those 16 years of age and over; under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum of three persons per boat. Five fish maximum, with 12 inches minimum. Large mouth bass only.

  3. Suffolk Farmers' Market Season Opening Celebration

    The Suffolk Farmers’ Market kicks off the 2018 season in the Suffolk Visitor Center Pavilion, conveniently located behind the Suffolk Visitor Center at the corner of Main Street and Constance Road. Enjoy the best in locally-grown fresh fruits and vegetables, along with eggs, honey, homemade jams and jellies, baked goods, fresh cut flowers, plants and handmade jewelry and crafts. Opening day will include live music, entertainment and kiddie fun! REGULAR SCHEDULE: Saturdays, 9am-1pm, through November 17.
