    Celebrate the beauty of fall by getting outdoors and being active. Come to Constant's Wharf and Marina in downtown Suffolk and take part in the Peanut Fest 5K Run/Walk and 1-Mile Fun Walk. Register before September 14, 2018, to ensure you get a commemorative race T-shirt and take advantage of the early registration discount! Children under 13 are FREE, although no T-shirt will be provided (one can still be purchased for $12). All participants receive a finisher medal! *This is not a timed event.

  2. Suffolk Peanut Fest Parade

    Kick off the Annual Suffolk Peanut Fest with a festive parade through downtown historic Suffolk. The parade stages in the Lakeside neighborhood and proceeds down Washington Street, turning left onto North Main Street and concludes at Finney Avenue. Sponsored by Lidl. Free and open to the public!

    Enjoy an open reception with works made by all ages inspired by banned books to close out Banned Books Week. Art will be displayed, judged, and winners will receive a prize. Passive art-making stations will also be available at this event.

  4. Downstairs at the Center: Ben Phelps Project

    Join us downstairs at the Center for The Ben Phelps Project, a six piece band from Hampton Roads Virginia. The band plays a style of music all their own merging jazz, blues, and rock into an original sound. The BPP has worked regionally since 2004, released two albums, and has played shows with Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Colbie Callait, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Chicago, Cowboy Mouth, Michelle Branch, Cracker, Carbon Leaf, Pat Mcgee, Taylor Hicks, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, The Romantics, Good Old War, and more.
