  2. 2019 Tour de Cure

    RIDE. RUN. WALK FOR THE CURE! The Suffolk and North Carolina countryside has never been more beautiful than when you're riding, walking or running to help find a cure for diabetes! Join us April 27, 2019, for the annual Tour de Cure, where you can "Choose Your Move!" The Tour is a ride, not a race, with routes designed for participants of all ages and abilities, including the occasional rider to the experienced cyclist. Your adventure also includes a post ride celebration with entertainment, delicious food and beer, as well as an informative wellness village!

  3. Snakes: Fact or Fiction

    April 27, 2019, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Suffolk Visitor Center Pavilion

    This terrific activity for both school-age children and adults will feature the identification, habitat, the benefits, and dispelling myths of snakes. Live snakes will be available for observation. Reservations are encouraged and may be made by calling or emailing the Suffolk Visitor Center. Program participants will receive a voucher redeemable for a discount on one of Suffolk Tourism's 2019 Great Dismal Swamp guided tours. Program will be held outdoors -- please dress accordingly.
