Suffolk Farmers’ Market

The 2024 Suffolk Farmers Market is now offered year-round at the Suffolk Visitor Center Pavilion! This year’s new winter market takes place the first and third Saturday of every month through April 20 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Starting Saturday, May 4, the Market will take place every Saturday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. through November 23. The Suffolk Farmers Market is a hometown favorite, and features fresh locally grown fruits and vegetables, baked goods, meats and eggs, jams and jellies, honey, pickles, and handmade artisan crafts. Live music, food trucks, and more. Mark your calendars for our Spring Specialty Market Saturday, March 30 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. and shop from local vendors including ANNA Soaps, Sara Pearsall Pottery, JC3 Family Farm, and more.

Suffolk Mystery Authors Festival

Join the Suffolk Division of Tourism as they present the Annual Suffolk Mystery Authors Festival, to be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Whether you are an avid or casual reader, aspiring writer or published author, you will find something entertaining and intriguing at the Suffolk Mystery Authors Festival. This one-day FREE festival showcases 40+ best-selling mystery, suspense, thriller, horror, paranormal, historical, romance, and women’s fiction authors. Highlights of the event include author meet & greets, book signings, and sales.

Suffolk Peanut Fest

Known for its fun family activities, Suffolk Peanut Fest offers concerts, amusement rides, contests and competitions, ​a demolition derby, peanut cup race, motorcycle rally, fireworks and much more. Combine all of these great activities with local and national entertainment and you have a weekend full of good times!

Suffolk Peanut Fest is scheduled for October 10-13, 2024.

Taste of Suffolk

Taste of Suffolk attracts attendees from across the region. The event site stretches down Main Street from Finney Avenue to Washington Street, and along West Washington Street to Saratoga Street. Main Street is lined with Suffolk’s independent restaurants presenting their signature menu items. Eateries offer smaller portions at nominal prices, allowing event attendees to sample an assortment of culinary creations. Merchants sell a variety of goods and services, and Suffolk’s automotive dealerships present a New Vehicle Exhibition. Festival-goers enjoy all-day entertainment with live music and contests, a Children’s Fun Area, and a Beer Garden showcasing local craft brews.

Taste of Suffolk is scheduled for Saturday, September 9, 2023.

Suffolk Earth and Arts Festival

Suffolk Earth and Arts Festival

Keep Suffolk Beautiful and the Suffolk Art League join forces once again to present the highly anticipated Suffolk Earth & Arts Festival, co-sponsored by Suffolk Tourism and Downtown Suffolk.

The festival will showcase over 130 vendors ranging from local artisans and authors to animal rescues and environmental outreach organizations. Discover unique creations and support local talent. This is a family-friendly event, including face painting, a caricaturist, live music, and dance performances. The musicians playing the event are Amy Kaus, Daniel Jordan Band, Jonah Ross, RaJazz, and Patrick Ryan.

Suffolk Earth and Arts Festival is scheduled for April 20, 2024.
